Job Summary

As an E2E Project Director at T-Systems, you will take full end-to-end responsibility for leading large-scale, multi-year defense programs characterized by high complexity and strategic importance. Your daily activities will involve managing significant budgets, overseeing quality assurance, and mitigating risks while leading a diverse project organization including various partners and stakeholders. You will be a key figure in contract and change management, driving up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within the program. A major part of the role involves high-level communication, including steering committees and escalation management at the executive level. This position is unique due to its impact on national security infrastructure and the opportunity to shape long-term relationships with major defense entities like the Bundeswehr and BMVg. You will play a critical role in reducing complexity for business customers through digital transformation in the areas of connectivity, cloud, and security.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in a technical or business-related field; professional project management certifications (PMP, IPMA B/C, or Prince2 Practitioner) are required.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience as a program manager for complex IT or defense projects
  • Proven experience in leading multi-year defense programs with high budget responsibility
  • Extensive experience in executive-level governance, steering committees, and escalation management within the defense sector (e.g., BWI, BMVg, Bundeswehr)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in multi-vendor and multi-stakeholder environments
  • Experience in strategic sales processes and offer management
