Job Summary

As an Accounting Manager at Deutsche Telekom Services Europe SE, you will oversee internal controls and the ongoing bookkeeping for fixed assets, leasing, and asset retirement obligations (ARO). This role involves ensuring compliance with both HGB and IFRS standards across assigned group companies. You will be a key contributor to financial reporting, the creation of annual reports, and the development of group-wide accounting policies. Beyond routine accounting, you will lead strategic projects, manage migrations during organizational restructuring, and support major IT transformations such as SAP S/4HANA implementations. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys technical accounting complexity and project management within a large-scale international corporate environment. You will serve as a primary contact for auditors and tax inspectors while staying ahead of national and international regulatory changes to implement necessary accounting measures.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Administration or a comparable vocational training with a relevant specialization or additional technical qualification.

Experience

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in preparing individual and/or consolidated financial statements in an international environment or at an auditing firm
  • Professional experience in accounting with a focus on fixed assets
  • Experience in leading strategic and cross-departmental projects
  • Proven experience with SAP FI/AA and financial systems
  • Experience in managing transfers and migrations during organizational or corporate structure changes
