Job Summary

As an Accounting Manager at Deutsche Telekom Services Europe, you will oversee internal controls and the ongoing accounting and financial statement preparation for fixed assets, leasing, and asset retirement obligations (ARO). Your daily responsibilities include ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, contributing to financial reporting, and developing group-wide accounting policies. You will act as a key point of contact for auditors and tax authorities while monitoring international regulatory developments to implement necessary changes. This role is highly strategic, involving the leadership of large-scale projects, IT transformations (such as SAP S/4HANA migrations), and the development of operational guidelines for accounting processes. This position is unique for its high level of responsibility within a major international telecommunications group, offering the chance to shape group-wide accounting concepts and manage complex organizational transitions. The role is based in Bonn and offers flexible working arrangements, including part-time options.
