Job Summary

As a Lead Test Manager in Research & Development, you will take on technical and organizational responsibility for the system-wide end-to-end testing of complex product landscapes. Your daily activities will involve steering verification and validation activities throughout the entire product development lifecycle and establishing a company-wide test strategy. You will oversee various testing levels, including Unit, Module, Integration, HiL, and SiL tests, while coordinating both manual and automated testing efforts. A significant part of the role involves optimizing the automated test infrastructure, performing root-cause analyses for defects, and collaborating closely with Systems Engineering and R&D departments. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the test management of complex, distributed systems
  • Extensive experience in system-wide end-to-end testing across multiple technical disciplines
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing test strategies, test plans, and acceptance concepts
  • Experience in technical team leadership or managing test responsibilities within development projects is preferred
  • Strong background in analyzing system architectures, technical dependencies, and interfaces
