Job Summary

As an Electronics Component Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a critical role in the lifecycle management of electronic and mechanical components. Your daily responsibilities include introducing new components, creating ECAD elements, and maintaining technical documentation. You will actively manage obsolescence by identifying alternative components and monitoring commercial databases to mitigate risks. Collaboration is key, as you will support hardware development teams in component selection, release processes, and the creation of bills of materials (BOM). Additionally, you will maintain master data in PDM systems and stay abreast of technical innovations in the electronics field. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a completed Technician certification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in planning and implementing product development projects
  • Experience in lifecycle management and qualification of electrical/control technology products
  • Proven knowledge of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components and their applications
  • Experience with database management and Product Change Notes (PCN) processing
  • Knowledge of electrical and control technology specifically in nuclear power plants is advantageous
