Job Summary

As a Linux and Backup System Administrator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the organization's backup infrastructure using Commvault. Your daily activities involve ensuring, monitoring, and regularly testing backup and recovery processes to guarantee data integrity. You will also oversee the system landscape through Icinga, where you will be tasked with both the administration and the strategic development of monitoring solutions. A significant portion of the role focuses on the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Linux servers, specifically Ubuntu environments. You will manage critical applications such as Keycloak, Nextcloud, and Zammad, performing root-cause analysis for system disruptions and implementing sustainable fixes. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of infrastructure stability and proactive system optimization.
