Job Summary
This role involves the programming and commissioning of sophisticated stone processing machinery and fully automated production lines within a specialized mechanical engineering environment. Day-to-day, you will develop control concepts for custom machinery, program Siemens PLC and CNC systems (Sinumerik), and design modern user interfaces using WinCC. The position is highly varied, as every project in special-purpose machinery manufacturing presents unique challenges. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the control system, from initial conceptualization to final commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering; alternatively, a vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with further training as a certified Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience in programming Siemens control systems is highly desirable
- Experience in commissioning modern machinery and automated production lines
- Experience in international customer support
- Background in special-purpose machinery manufacturing (Sondermaschinenbau)
