Job Summary

As a Communications Engineer within the WDR Program Distribution department, you will play a pivotal role in planning and operating the technical systems and networks that broadcast content via terrestrial transmitters, satellites, and the internet. Your daily responsibilities include leading complex investment projects and managing large, heterogeneous project teams. You will be responsible for the conceptual design of networked digital transmitter systems, coordinating both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring robust IT security throughout project implementation. This role is unique for its involvement in large-scale media-over-IP infrastructure and high-profile national and EU-wide tender processes.
