Job Summary
This leadership role involves heading a team of four within the Organization Department of the City of Dormagen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the municipal staffing plan, conducting job evaluations according to TVöD and KGSt standards, and overseeing organizational efficiency audits. A major focus of the position is the introduction and continuous development of modern process management systems across various municipal offices. You will act as a central consultant for internal departments, balancing complex interests to find sustainable organizational solutions. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Business Administration, or completion of the Administrative Specialist qualification (Verwaltungslehrgang 2 / Verwaltungsfachwirt). For civil servants: Qualification for the second entry level of career group 2 in general non-technical administrative service.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the organizational department of a local municipal government
- Experience in managing complex administrative facts and mediating between conflicting interests
- Leadership experience is desirable
- Experience in structured and solution-oriented project management
