Job Summary
As a Requirements Engineer for RF Systems, you will play a pivotal role in an international information technology company based in Berlin. Your daily responsibilities involve the structured collection, analysis, and formal specification of both functional and non-functional requirements for high-frequency systems, focusing on performance, real-time capabilities, and reliability. You will act as a central mediator, leading workshops and reviews with cross-functional teams including Product Management, RF Hardware, and Embedded Software departments. A significant portion of the role involves managing the requirements repository in JAMA, integrating it with JIRA and Confluence, and ensuring full traceability throughout the development lifecycle. This position is particularly attractive due to its flexible work model offering up to 60% remote work and the potential for permanent takeover by the client. It provides a high-impact environment where you can establish quality metrics and review processes for complex cyber-physical systems.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Physics, or Medical Technology. Mandatory CPRE Foundation certification; CPRE Advanced preferred.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a responsible Requirements Engineer for complex cyber-physical systems.
- Proven experience in high-reliability sectors such as RF/RF, Automotive, Avionics, Industrial, or MedTech.
- Extensive experience in moderating technical workshops and cross-functional reviews.
- Practical experience in deriving verification and validation criteria and risk management.
