Job Summary
As the IT and Technical Team Lead at Kaufland's meat processing facility, you will bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing the site's technical leadership and IT infrastructure, with a strategic focus on robotics, automated packaging solutions, and smart production. You will drive the transition toward Maintenance 4.0 by implementing IoT-driven predictive maintenance and paperless production via MES/ERP interfaces. Beyond operational management, you will lead high-level investment projects such as plant expansions while ensuring strict adherence to HACCP standards and OT cybersecurity. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification with a strong IT background.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in a production environment, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record in managing complex technical investments including budget and timeline adherence
- Professional experience in implementing automation, robotics, and smart production strategies
- Experience in change management and operational implementation of technical transformations

- Willingness to work in a meat processing plant environment; knowledge of HACCP and occupational safety standards required.
