IT Systems Manager - Linux and Networking | IT Systemmanager - Schwerpunkt Linux und Netzwerk (m/w/d)
QITS GmbH
Job Summary
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to manage and optimize a robust Linux-based infrastructure while overseeing critical network operations. As an IT Systems Manager, your time will be split between hands-on Linux administration (70%) and network management (30%). You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of Linux environments using Debian, Ubuntu, and RHEL, while also coordinating with external service providers to implement firewall and network requirements. The position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical command-line work—managing services like Apache, MariaDB, and Docker—and strategic vendor management. Based in Ratingen with a hybrid work model, this role is particularly attractive due to its 37.5-hour work week, commitment to professional IT training, and a collaborative environment that bridges the gap between system administration and software development teams.
