Job Summary
As a Planning Applications Consultant in Munich, you will join an agile DevOps feature team responsible for production planning applications at manufacturing sites. You will manage and extend standard Advanced Planning Systems (APS) such as Dassault Systèmes DELMIA/Quintiq, while overseeing an integration layer built on modern cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure Kubernetes. Your daily work involves consulting with specialist departments to solve complex 'planning puzzles' and translating intricate production processes into software solutions. You will be deeply involved in the design, development, and operation of IT solutions, utilizing DevOps methods like automated testing and CI/CD. This role is highly impactful, as you define new technical standards and ensure seamless integration between SAP ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). It is an ideal position for those who enjoy technical consulting within the automotive and plant engineering sectors, offering a blend of process optimization and modern software engineering.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the design and development of IT solutions or process consulting.
- Professional experience in agile software development, including testing and application operations.
- Proven experience in the international rollout of IT solutions and applications.
- Process knowledge in program and production planning, including master and transaction data.
- Experience with 3DS DELMIA/Quintiq (MPS/DS) or comparable APS software such as SAP.
