Job Summary
This role involves managing the comprehensive IT infrastructure for Lebenshilfe Hamm e.V., a social services organization supporting approximately 1,000 individuals. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of an ESXi cluster, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Exchange environments. You will play a critical role in maintaining IT security, managing firewalls and backups, and supporting industry-specific ERP software. Beyond technical maintenance, you will install and configure hardware and software, provide user support and training, and contribute to the strategic development of the organization's IT landscape. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of high-level server management and direct user interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Many years of professional experience in network and IT security environments
- Extensive practical experience in the maintenance, monitoring, and care of complex IT systems
- Proven experience with hardware and software applications, specifically ERP systems
- Experience in Windows client support and Office application management
- Fundamental understanding of commercial/business processes
