Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator at FRIMO Innovative Technologies GmbH, you will be a key member of the technical team in Sontra, responsible for the stability and security of a multi-site infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level support and managing a diverse network environment encompassing LAN, WAN, and WLAN. You will oversee Windows servers hosted on VMware vSphere and Azure, manage virtual desktops through VMware/Omnissa Horizon and Citrix DaaS, and ensure data integrity using Veeam backup solutions. Additionally, you will handle user access via Active Directory and Entra ID while monitoring systems with CheckMK. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys working with modern IT environments and is eager to implement strategic IT projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an information technology profession or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in Active Directory and Microsoft applications
- Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support
- Proven experience in network and server administration
- Experience with virtualization and cloud-based server environments
- Background in managing IT security and backup solutions
