Job Summary
As a Special Effects Technician, you will play a pivotal role in bringing world-class shows and attractions to life by maintaining and servicing a diverse range of high-tech effect systems. Your daily responsibilities will include the upkeep of audio systems, projection technology, VR equipment, camera systems, lighting installations, show lasers, and fog effects. Beyond maintenance, you will contribute to the development of innovative effect systems for world-record-breaking attractions. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys working with show control systems and complex electronics in a dynamic environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Event Technology, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or event technology
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of show-related technical systems
- Practical knowledge of DMX-Bus and sound reinforcement technology
- Experience with PLC programming and lighting control systems is preferred
