Job Summary

The Federal Office for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) is seeking a Geodata Manager to join their Hybrid Maps unit in Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical integration of large-scale national and pan-European georeferenced data in collaboration with European partners. Your daily tasks will include developing geodata processing routines, performing quality control, and optimizing data management processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed University degree (Bachelor/FH) in Geoinformatics, Geosciences, Geography, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in geodata processing and technical data integration
  • Experience in programming automated processes for data quality testing using Python or FME
  • Practical experience working with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
  • Experience in database management and UML modeling is preferred
  • Proven ability in independent work organization and interdisciplinary team collaboration
