Job Summary
As the IT Software Team Lead for the Medical Service of Lower Saxony, you will oversee the seamless provision and maintenance of software applications across the organization's infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include managing digitalization and software development projects, steering strategic architectural changes, and supporting the IT Director in defining the department's long-term technical direction. You will play a critical role in ensuring IT security and information security management according to BSI standards while coordinating external service providers. This position is ideal for a leader who excels at fostering team communication and collaboration within a mission-driven environment. The role is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, 38.5-hour work week, flexible scheduling with home-office options, and a dog-friendly office policy. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational training in IT combined with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of leadership experience in a professional IT environment
- Professional experience in IT software development and application systems
- Practical experience with agile methods such as Scrum
- Experience or certification in ITIL processes and project management frameworks like Prince2
- Proven track record in managing software architecture and digitalization projects
