As a System Manager for Retrofit Train Control On-Board Units (OBU), you will play a pivotal role in integrating advanced train protection equipment into existing international rail fleets, including locomotives and high-speed trains. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing customer requirements, assessing technical feasibility, and designing comprehensive integration solutions that address functional, electrical, and physical installation challenges. You will act as a critical interface between international bid and project teams, defining technical interfaces with both internal and external partners. A unique aspect of this role is the end-to-end involvement, from the initial proposal phase to overseeing the 'first-of-class' prototype installation.
