Job Summary
As a Junior Team Lead Maintenance for S-Bahn Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing Hamburg's rail infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve implementing Lean principles to optimize operational processes, ensuring the reliability of the train fleet, and standing in for senior leadership during absences. You will be responsible for creating safety assessments, conducting technical instructions for staff regarding occupational safety and quality standards, and managing projects aimed at stabilizing vehicle maintenance across multiple locations. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training, ideally supplemented with a qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker).
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance or a comparable technical field
- Initial leadership experience in a maintenance environment is preferred
- Experience in implementing Lean principles and optimizing operational processes
- Proven track record in workplace safety and technical instruction
- Experience working with digital tools and standard IT applications
