Job Summary

This role at Desay SV Automotive Europe involves leading the development and validation of competitive architecture solutions for Head-Up Displays (HUD) within the automotive sector. As an Optical Expert, you will be responsible for optimizing critical manufacturing processes for mass production, driving the creation of high-efficiency optical tools, and conducting design reviews to ensure technical feasibility. You will play a pivotal role in the RFI/RFQ process, analyzing customer requirements and presenting technical system solutions directly to clients. The position is highly dynamic, requiring you to stay ahead of industry trends and apply cutting-edge technologies to product design while providing technical support to customer service departments. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or higher with a focus on Optics or Physics (including coursework in Aberration Theory, Physical Optics, and Information Optics).

Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience in optical design for imaging products such as HUD, lenses, projectors, or AR glasses
  • Professional experience in leading and optimizing HUD mass production processes
  • Proven experience in optical simulation and design software mastery
  • Experience in scripting for data processing and analysis
  • Experience in technical consulting and customer requirement analysis (RFI/RFQ)
