This role involves the comprehensive administration and coordination of IT systems and specialized applications within a public administration setting. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability and security across the IT landscape, managing hardware and software lifecycles, and performing second-level support. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting complex issues, managing virtualization environments and storage systems, and overseeing IT security protocols. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT field; alternatively, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) with relevant work experience.

Experience

  • At least 12 months of professional experience in IT Service Management and IT systems administration if applying with a vocational background
  • Professional experience in the administration of current Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Experience in managing virtualized environments and storage solutions
  • Proven experience in structured troubleshooting and problem-solving (Second-Level Support)
  • Experience in project work and system optimization
  • Experience with public administration specialized applications is an advantage
