Job Summary
Join Neptun Ship Design, Germany's largest ship design engineering firm, as an Electrical Engineer focused on communication and nautical systems. In this role, you will take a central position within the Propulsion and Energy Systems department, developing and integrating innovative communication and navigation solutions for modern vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing system architectures, creating layout plans for network-based systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical requirements. You will act as a technical liaison between ship owners, classification societies, shipyards, and suppliers. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in shipbuilding or maritime installations
- Experience in developing and integrating communication and navigation systems from concept to detail design
- Professional experience in coordinating with classification societies, shipyards, and suppliers
- Proven track record in creating layout plans and system architecture diagrams
