Job Summary
This role involves the technical maintenance and operational reliability of the iconic Wuppertal Suspension Railway (Schwebebahn). As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting of electrotechnical systems, performing essential assembly, repair, and maintenance work. A key component of the role includes conducting independent switching operations and supervising external service providers during construction projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering; ideally advanced training as a Technician in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
Experience

- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrotechnical systems
- Experience in supervising external service providers and contractors
- Practical experience with low voltage systems and network infrastructure
