Job Summary
As a Global Technical Expert for SAP Material Master, you will join the Digital Solutions & IT Architecture team to drive innovative IT solutions across Material Master Data, EHS, Product Development, and Sustainability. Operating within a global network of SAP specialists, your primary focus will be the technical maintenance and design of process solutions within a newly implemented S/4 HANA environment. Your daily responsibilities include the technical optimization of the system through SAP ABAP programming and customizing, specifically enhancing the Material Master Cockpit and EHS rule sets. You will evaluate complex business requirements, design technical concepts, and independently implement changes using modern SAP technologies. This role is highly attractive for professionals seeking to work on cutting-edge S/4 HANA projects while integrating third-party solutions and optimizing global end-to-end processes for a leading international coatings provider.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Informatics, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in SAP implementation projects specifically within MM, EHS, or Product Compliance modules
- Multi-year experience in developing complex object-oriented ABAP programs
- Proven experience with system integration of 3rd party solutions (e.g., 3E, Opesus) via APIs or IDocs
- Practical experience in evaluating technical feasibility and designing solution concepts
- Experience working with agile delivery models and process modeling tools
