Job Summary
As a (Senior) Fullstack Software Developer at REWE digital, you will join the 'Store Mobile Solutions' team in Cologne to shape the future of stationary retail. You will be responsible for developing and integrating sophisticated fullstack solutions within a microservice architecture, specifically focusing on mobile device landscapes like tablets and MDEs. Your day-to-day involves building user-friendly interfaces using Android and Angular, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and setting up monitoring and logging for stable operations. You will act as a technical visionary, evaluating new technologies and setting standards while collaborating across functions to make retail smarter. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with a modern tech stack (Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, GCP, Kubernetes) and want to see their work impact millions of customers across thousands of stores. The position offers high autonomy, a dedicated training budget of €2,000 per year, and a flexible work-life integration model.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Professional experience in developing fullstack solutions and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD, logging, and monitoring solutions
- Proven experience with Angular, Android, and Java/Kotlin ecosystems
- Experience managing complex system landscapes and cloud environments (GCP/Kubernetes)
- Experience in evaluating technologies and setting technical standards
