Job Summary
As an IT Security Officer based in Jena, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive health data within a digitalized healthcare environment. Working for Convales Services GmbH, a partner of the Medipolis Group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security standards that protect people and processes. Your daily activities will include helping to build and develop a Security Operation Center (SOC), supporting the CISO in managing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001, and developing security policies. You will also coordinate security incidents, conduct internal audits and training, and advise IT departments on regulatory requirements such as MDR and GMP. This full-time, permanent position offers the unique opportunity to shape the digitalization of healthcare while ensuring the highest levels of information security for critically ill patients.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, IT Forensics, Information and Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering (with IT focus), Digital Management, or Administrative Informatics.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT security or information security management
- Experience in developing and harmonizing security policies and concepts
- Practical knowledge in implementing ISMS frameworks (ISO 27001 or BSI)
- Experience in coordinating and documenting security incidents
- Experience in conducting internal audits and staff training sessions
- Experience advising project leads and IT departments on regulatory requirements
