Job Summary
As a Project Planning Engineer at Wallstein Ingenieur GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in designing sustainable and energy-efficient industrial plant solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the end-to-end technical configuration and calculation of complex systems, ranging from heat exchangers to complete multi-disciplinary plant components. You will analyze customer specifications, evaluate commercial conditions, and structure comprehensive scopes of delivery. A key part of the role is developing competitive offers by calculating manufacturing costs and sourcing supplier quotes. You will act as a technical bridge, collaborating closely with design, purchasing, and sales departments to present concepts to international clients. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable engineering field; alternatively, an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in plant construction, apparatus engineering, project planning, or technical sales
- Experience in analyzing tenders and customer specifications
- Proven experience in calculating manufacturing costs and structuring scopes of delivery
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with design, purchasing, and project management teams
