Job Summary
As a SCADA Systems Project Engineer at groninger, you will be responsible for the planning and design of complex SCADA systems for specialized machinery in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and healthcare industries. Your daily activities will involve creating system architectures—including infrastructure, networks, and customer connections—while ensuring adherence to OT security requirements. You will play a pivotal role in the sales phase by evaluating customer inquiries, defining technical specifications, and communicating directly with international clients regarding planned technical executions. Required Skills
Education
University degree or certified technician qualification (Techniker) in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience with network architectures in an industrial environment
- Proven knowledge of SCADA systems such as COPA-DATA Zenon or Rockwell FactoryTalk
- Experience in evaluating customer technical requirements and creating system architectures
- Experience in technical communication and collaboration with sales departments
