Job Summary
As an AI Specialist at parcIT, you will join a newly formed interdisciplinary AI team within the Data Management and IT Operations department. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve anchoring AI usage within the company's daily processes by developing concepts and implementing defined measures. You will act as an internal consultant, advising colleagues on the business utility and regulatory environment of AI, particularly regarding make-or-buy decisions and solution comparisons. The role requires a proactive approach to analyzing use cases, identifying optimization potential, and prioritizing AI implementations. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in data, technology, and governance, as well as external AI solution providers. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of autonomy, offering up to 80% mobile work, the possibility of working 15 days from other European countries, and a modern office in central Cologne with extensive health and family benefits.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the implementation and utilization of artificial intelligence, data science, or machine learning in a corporate context
- Experience in the development, implementation, and productive deployment of AI solutions
- Experience working within cloud environments, specifically Azure
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and internal consulting regarding AI business utility
