Job Summary
This role offers a dynamic blend of field and office-based technical work within a specialized security and building technology company. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of modern security systems, including the installation, configuration, and commissioning of IP-based video surveillance and access control systems. Your daily routine involves troubleshooting, technical support (remote and on-site), and performing regular maintenance to ensure system integrity. You will act as a technical consultant for clients in the industrial, commercial, and public sectors, documenting your work and ensuring smooth handovers. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training as an Electronics Technician for Information or Building Technology, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Specialist, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of security or building technology
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of network-based surveillance systems
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and technical customer support
- Experience in independent and structured work environments
