Job Summary

This role involves coordinating construction and modernization projects for the City of Bonn's public swimming pool infrastructure. Working within the Sports and Baths Department, you will be responsible for the technical assessment, planning, and oversight of renovation measures for indoor and outdoor pools. Your day-to-day tasks include analyzing structural needs, coordinating with external planners and construction managers, and evaluating technical systems such as water treatment, ventilation, and electrical installations. You will serve as a key technical advisor, drafting decision templates for management and ensuring that all projects meet legal standards and operational requirements. Required Skills

Education

Completed advanced training/certification as a State-Certified Construction Technician (Staatlich geprüfte*r Bautechniker*in).

Experience

  • Professional experience as a certified Construction Technician (Bautechniker)
  • Sound knowledge in public building construction, preferably focused on swimming pools or building technology
  • Experience in technical operations or project management within public institutions is desirable
  • Proven experience in coordinating construction measures and collaborating with external specialist planners
