Job Summary
As a Service Technician for an international family-owned thermal process technology company, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial systems including exhaust gas purification, waste heat recovery, and industrial furnaces. Your daily routine involves performing electrical connections according to VDE standards, troubleshooting existing systems, and providing technical customer support directly on-site. This role is ideal for those who enjoy technical variety and hands-on problem solving. The position is particularly attractive due to its long-term security, offering a permanent contract, 30 days of vacation, and an early weekend start on Fridays at 1:15 PM. You will be equipped with modern tools and a mobile phone, supported by a thorough induction program and regular training to ensure your success in handling complex industrial machinery.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the electrical field (e.g., Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Electrical Installer).
Experience
- Professional experience in service or field operations is preferred, though motivated career changers are welcome
- Experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial plants
- Proven experience working with electrical circuits and technical documentation
- Experience in customer-facing technical support roles

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required. Must be able to work independently and reliably at customer sites.
