Job Summary

As a Project Engineer for Technical Building Services at Berger Holding, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of energy and utility systems at the Ottobeuren site. Your daily activities involve conducting structured inventory assessments and analyzing existing systems to design comprehensive solutions for cooling, heating, compressed air, ventilation, sanitary technology, and cooling lubricants. You will take projects from initial concept through detailed planning to final commissioning, ensuring technical components and piping systems are correctly dimensioned. This role is highly analytical, requiring you to perform economic feasibility calculations and drive optimization projects. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Supply Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Energy Technology, or Mechanical Engineering; alternatively, a qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the handling and operation of technical building systems and plants
  • Experience in project planning and control from conception to commissioning
  • Proven ability in the technical dimensioning of components and piping systems
  • Experience in performing economic efficiency calculations for technical projects
  • Practical experience in analyzing and optimizing energy and utility systems
