Job Summary
This role in Magdeburg offers a diverse daily routine focused on the maintenance and technical support of modern office infrastructure. As a Printer and IT Service Technician, you will be responsible for the error analysis, maintenance, and repair of multi-function printers, fax machines, and printing systems. Beyond hardware, you will handle the installation of software components and the administration of complex IT environments, including MS networks, virtualized servers (VMware), and backup systems. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys direct customer contact and troubleshooting technical issues on-site. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field, as an Office Information Electronics Technician, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT service or as an office information electronics technician
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of printers and multi-function peripherals (MFP)
- Technical experience with server environments, firewalls, and network administration
- Experience with RICOH hardware or certifications in Securepoint/AGFEO is preferred
