Job Summary
This role involves executing essential civil engineering and construction tasks to maintain and renew regional utility networks, including gas, water, heat, and electricity. As a key member of the Stadtwerke Ulm/Neu-Ulm team, you will be responsible for creating trenches and pits, ensuring proper bedding and backfilling, and restoring surfaces using asphalt and paving techniques. The day-to-day work includes operating construction machinery and vehicles, securing construction sites according to safety regulations, and maintaining open spaces and water bodies. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a relevant trade such as Civil Engineering Worker, Road Builder, Concrete Worker, Pipeline Builder, Mason, or Landscaper.
Experience
- Professional experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Experience with construction materials and their applications
- Experience in operating construction vehicles and small trucks
- Experience in manual labor and outdoor construction environments

- Valid Class B driver's license required (Class C/CE preferred); willingness to acquire Class C1E license and machinery operation certificates is mandatory; participation in on-call duty required after training.
