Job Summary
This role involves managing the complete lifecycle of fixed assets for the Office of Bad Wilsnack/Weisen. As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for the organization and execution of asset accounting tasks, including recording additions and disposals, inventory management, and calculating depreciation. You will play a key role in preparing monthly and annual financial statements and supporting the department head with municipal value-added tax (VAT) matters. This position is a maternity and parental leave cover starting in May 2026. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellter), Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter), Bank Clerk (Bankfachangestellter), or a similar qualification with several years of relevant experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in administration, bookkeeping, or cash management
- Experience in fixed asset accounting and calculating depreciation

- Experience in municipal or public sector finance is preferred
