Job Summary

As an Electrical Hardware Engineer based in the Munich area, you will take ownership of the full hardware development lifecycle within a modern, interdisciplinary engineering environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve creating complex circuit diagrams using Altium Designer, overseeing PCB layouts, and designing optical frontends. You will be hands-on with amplifier circuit design, including high-precision SMD soldering (0402/0201), and conduct rigorous temperature and signal evaluations. A key part of the role includes performing EMC measurements and defining testing protocols to ensure product quality. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of independent design work and close collaboration with firmware and manufacturing teams. The role offers a high degree of creative freedom, a modular development approach, and a stable, permanent contract in a technologically advanced setting, requiring approximately 50% on-site presence.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development
  • Proven experience in creating circuit diagrams with Altium Designer
  • Practical experience in analog circuit design and signal evaluation
  • Hands-on experience with precision SMD soldering (0402 / 0201)
  • Experience in EMC-compliant development is preferred
