Job Summary
This role provides comprehensive commercial and administrative support to the management of the municipal construction yard (Baubetriebshof) for the City of Bünde. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, including the preparation of annual financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and economic planning. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing debt services, asset accounting, and tax matters such as VAT. Beyond finance, you will lead the coordination of order and invoice management, handle specialized software support (SAP, S-Firm), and oversee cost and performance accounting to drive economic efficiency. The position also touches on human resources and organizational development, where you will optimize work processes and support organizational changes. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration with a completed Advanced Administrative Training Course II (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in), or a university degree in Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience required if applying with a Business Administration degree.
- Professional experience in commercial management or public administration.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and economic plans.
- Experience in cost accounting and performance metrics.
- Experience in organizational development and process optimization.
