As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the company's Next Generation platform, specifically focusing on new commissioning and live updates. Your daily activities involve preparing and executing system deployments, refining workflows, and ensuring detailed documentation for seamless handovers to downstream departments. You will play a critical role in system configuration, troubleshooting, and fault rectification, often coordinating with internal colleagues and external contractors. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT System Electronics Technician (IT-Systemelektroniker), a comparable university degree, or further training as a state-certified technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in virtualization and containerization solutions
- Experience in the administration of Windows and Unix operating systems
- Experience in network technology and system configuration
- Practical experience in error analysis and fault rectification
- Experience in customer service and professional client interaction
- Preferred experience in CI/CD environments and Kubernetes
