Job Summary

As a Geodata Process Developer for the Hessian Administration for Land Management and Geoinformation (HVBG) in Wiesbaden, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing official surveying through automated geodata analysis. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing specialized applications for evaluating aerial and satellite imagery, implementing AI-driven algorithms for change detection, and integrating these innovations into the Digital Basic Landscape Model (Basis-DLM). You will conduct requirement analyses, design standardized testing scenarios to ensure data quality, and serve as a subject matter expert for Geo-AI and remote sensing. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in processing, classifying, and analyzing geodata and remote sensing data
  • Practical experience using GIS-based production tools and managing geodatabases with SQL
  • Experience in developing technical applications and automated evaluation concepts
  • Preferred experience in object-oriented programming and the application of AI techniques
  • Preferred experience in project management and cross-institutional collaboration
