Job Summary

As a Technical Facility Management Expert at BLB NRW, you will play a pivotal role in managing one of Europe's largest and most demanding real estate portfolios. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as a central consultant for regional branches on technical and legal issues regarding building operations, maintenance, and repairs. You will monitor relevant legislation to ensure legally compliant operations and develop standardized guidelines for technical inspections and commissioning. A significant part of the role involves driving the digital transformation of property management by enhancing CAFM systems. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of flexibility, offering up to 60% mobile work from anywhere in Germany and a flexible working window from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. You will contribute directly to the ambitious goal of achieving a climate-neutral state administration by 2030 within a secure, long-term public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Building Services Engineering, Technical Building Equipment (TGA), Supply Engineering, HVAC Technology, Water/Wastewater Technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in technical real estate or technical facility management
  • Professional experience with relevant laws, regulations, and standards in technical building operations
  • Experience in developing technical concepts, processes, and binding operational guidelines
  • Experience with IT tools and digital transformation within property management
