Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive management and operation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and related clinical applications. As an IT Application Specialist, you will be responsible for system monitoring, error analysis, patch management, and release support. A significant portion of the role focuses on the administration and optimization of HL7 interfaces using Cloverleaf, as well as the maintenance of digital archiving systems and telematics infrastructure. You will act as a bridge between medical departments, IT teams, and external service providers, providing essential 2nd and 3rd-level support. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the support and operation of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), specifically with NEXUS software.
  • Practical experience in managing clinical interface standards including HL7 and FHIR.
  • Demonstrated experience in system analysis, troubleshooting, and technical documentation within a healthcare IT environment.
  • Experience in coordinating with medical departments and external service providers.
