Job Summary

This role involves the planning, preparation, and execution of comprehensive testing tasks within a professional manufacturing environment. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for creating initial sample inspection reports, identifying defective products, and coordinating external sampling processes. A significant portion of your daily work includes performing measurements using mobile optical 3D coordinate measuring technology, evaluating results, and maintaining detailed measurement protocols. You will also manage the calibration of testing equipment with external suppliers and perform internal maintenance on sensitive measuring devices. Required Skills

Education

Experience

Professional experience in a comparable metrology or quality assurance role is preferred
Several years of experience in measuring technology and testing procedures
Experience in handling length and surface roughness measurement tools
Proven background in the metal industry through completed vocational training

Willingness to work in shifts (Schichtarbeit) is required. Must demonstrate high care, dexterity, and quality consciousness. Location constraints include Eisfeld and Hildburghausen.
