Job Summary
This is an entry-level trainee position designed for recent graduates looking to launch a career in hardware planning for energy and control systems or PLC programming. Over an eight-week intensive program, participants will be mentored by industry experts to master hardware design using EPLAN and automation programming via the Siemens TIA Portal. The role is highly flexible, allowing for customized training durations based on prior internship or academic experience. Upon completion, trainees transition into full-scale roles as Electrical Designers or PLC Programmers, working on engineering projects close to their home locations. This opportunity is unique for its blend of structured classroom-style learning and immediate practical application in diverse industrial sectors like plant engineering and energy technology. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a Bachelor Professional qualification.
Experience

- Experience in a collaborative team environment with a focus on communication

Additional
- Willingness to travel worldwide is required for future assignments involving the commissioning of automation solutions. Locations include Düsseldorf, Aachen, Bocholt, Bochum, Dortmund, Duisburg, Essen, Köln, Krefeld, Lüdenscheid, Mönchengladbach, Münster, and Wuppertal.
