Job Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer at DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in one of Germany's most significant infrastructure projects, including the reorganization of the Stuttgart rail hub and the implementation of the Digital Node Stuttgart. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage planners, auditors, and general contractors, with a primary focus on maintaining strict adherence to schedules, costs, and quality standards. You will independently identify and manage interfaces between different technical trades and provide expert guidance to subcontractors. This role is unique as it offers the opportunity to shape the future of German rail traffic through the 'Deutschlandtakt' initiative. You will be responsible for the planning and realization phases surrounding the new main station, ensuring all technical requirements are met for construction execution. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable field of study; alternatively, equivalent knowledge through relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management, ideally within large-scale construction or infrastructure
  • Experience in turnkey planning and execution of complex projects
  • Experience in coordinating with regulatory authorities and inspection bodies
  • Proven track record in managing interfaces between different technical trades
  • Experience in technical documentation and commissioning processes
  • Experience in negotiating with planning offices and contractors
