Job Summary
As a Security Systems Service Technician at G&N Gefahrenmelde- und Nachrichtentechnik GmbH, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of advanced security infrastructure. Your daily tasks include the independent installation, programming, and commissioning of intrusion detection, fire alarm, access control, and video surveillance systems. You will also perform critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing according to strict DIN VDE and EN standards, ensuring all technical documentation and customer protocols are accurately maintained. This role is highly interactive, requiring coordination with clients and suppliers, as well as participation in on-call services. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable profession (e.g., Electronics Technician).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, security technology, or IT systems engineering
- Practical experience in the assembly, service, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems
- Proven expertise in at least one specialized area such as EMA, BMA, Video, or Access Control
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. Participation in on-call readiness service is mandatory. Role is based in Montabaur, Germany.
