Job Summary
The Regional State Office for School and Education (RLSB) Lüneburg is seeking a Deputy Head of IT Coordination to join their Central Tasks department. In this pivotal role, you will lead the Project Management Office and serve as a critical bridge between administrative functions and technical implementation. Your daily responsibilities include managing mobile communications contracts, overseeing software licensing and release management in collaboration with IT.Niedersachsen, and handling financial invoice processing. A key strategic focus involves acting as the interface for the introduction of electronic document management systems (e-files) and broader eGovernment initiatives. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong administrative background who enjoys interdisciplinary work within a public sector environment. Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of Administrative Training II (Verwaltungsfachwirt), qualification for the first entry level of career group 2 in General Services, a Bachelor's degree in administrative, social, political, or economic sciences, or a legal qualification (First or Second State Examination).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or a related administrative field
- Experience in project management and organizational coordination
- Demonstrated experience in handling administrative processes and financial settlements
- Experience working within the Lower Saxony state administration or similar public sector bodies is preferred
- Experience in IT service management or IT organizational structures (e.g., ITIL) is desirable
