Job Summary
The City of Quickborn is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Building Construction Department within the Real Estate Division. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and management of municipal properties, including the planning, tendering, and supervision of maintenance works. Your daily tasks will involve independent object monitoring, damage analysis, and coordination with building users. You will also play a key role in budget planning, optimizing operating costs, and supporting the implementation of a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Master Tradesperson (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) specializing in building construction, building technology, or electrical engineering.
Experience
- Many years of professional experience in the execution of construction projects
- Previous experience in municipal administration or public sector facility management is preferred
- Proven expertise in building services and technical building equipment
- Experience in independent task fulfillment and solution-oriented project handling
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and assertiveness when dealing with contractors

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Readiness to participate in crisis organization (for E 9b level and above) is expected. Position is based in Quickborn with options for mobile work.
