Job Summary
This role is situated within the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, specifically serving the European Social Fund (ESF) Managing Authority. As an Administrative Officer, you will play a vital role in the strategic and financial management of ESF programs. Your daily responsibilities will include performing data analyses to support strategy development and financial planning, creating functional specifications for funding databases, and conducting software testing. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing user documentation and providing training and support to staff across regional governments. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Diploma) in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Computer Science; or qualification for the elevated general administrative service (Gehobener Dienst).
Experience
- Professional experience in the use of databases or statistical software is required
- Experience in managing EU Structural Funds or labor market policy funding programs is preferred
- Experience in public administration or the civil service sector
- Demonstrated experience in creating user documentation and conducting software training
